Rentsys Recovery Services has acquired disaster0recovery group IT-Lifeline.
IT-Lifeline, headquartered in Liberty Lake, Wash., also supplies compliance-testing services for the financial services industry. The company develops BlackCloud, a compliance-focused testing and recovery service, which Rentsys plans to incorporate into its products.
College Station, Texas-based Rentsys provides similar services to businesses, including community banks, credit unions and enterprise organizations. The two companies had previously had a strategic partnership, under which Rentsys used some of IT-Lifeline’s services.
The transaction follows Rentsys’ July acquisition of EverGreen Data Continuity Inc., which provides business-continuity services.
