Precision Engineered Products LLC has closed a deal for Connecticut Plastics.
Connecticut Plastics, headquartered in Wallingford, Conn., supplies products to the life sciences, medial, aerospace and instrumentation and control companies. The company specializes in smooth plastics used in electronics and medical products.
Attleboro, Mass.-based Precision Engineered manufactures plastic and metal components, used in medical and surgical devices.
Other recent components deals include Continental AG's agreement to buy Veyance Technologies Inc. in February, and MFC Industrial Ltd.'s (NYSE: MIL) deal for Fesil AS Group. Recent plastics transactions include the Carlyle Group's (Nasdaq: CG) deal to buy a unit of Illinois Tool Works, and High Road Capital Partners' purchase of Electra-Finish Inc.
