PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) is making another acquisition – this time buying architectural paint group Masterwork.

Pittsburgh-based Masterwork operates 13 stores in western Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York that sell architectural paint. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal will expand PPG’s store footprint in the area. The company operates more than 900 stores in North America.

PPG is a Pittsburgh-based coatings company that owns the Flood, Glidden, Liquid Nails, Manor Hall, Olympic, PPG Paints, PPG Pittsburgh Paints, PPG Porter Paints and Sikkens brands.

Earlier in June, PPG agreed to buy Homax Group Inc., which makes wall and ceiling texture products, from private equity firm Olympus Partners. In March, the company picked up Canal Supplies Inc., which makes marine coatings. Last July, PPG sold its stake in Transitions Optical for $1.73 billion.
