CohnReznick — The advisory firm announced that Keith Denham has joined as managing principal. Denham succeeds Anthony Zecca, who is slated to retire at the end of 2014. Zecca lead CohnReznick's advisory services for more than 30 years.  Denham, meanwhile, jumps to CohnReznick from Deloitte, where he spent 20 years.


Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE: GS) — The New York investment bank has drafted Paul Parker to be a co-chairman of its mergers and acquisitions group. The move comes less than three months after Parker left his post as global head of finance at Barclays plc (NYSE: BCS). Parker joined Barclays through the London-based bank’s purchase of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.'s North American operations out of bankruptcy in September 2008.  


Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP — Anna Budde, a specialist in advising chemical companies obtaining patents, has been named a partner in the intellectual property department of the Detroit law firm. She joins Honigman from Quinn Law Group PLLC of Novi, Michigan. Before that, Budde was at Harness Dickey & Pierce plc.


Friedman LLP — Kenneth Gibbons has been tapped by the East Hanover, New Jersey law firm as a principal. Gibbons' experience includes running his own practice, Kenneth Gibbons LLC, since 2008. Before that, he ran the financial audit department of Deloitte from 2004 to 2008.


Martin LLP — The Stamford, Connecticut-based law firm run by Christopher Martin has hired John Capetta to lead the private equity practice.  Capetta joins the firm from the international law firm of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, where he began his career and went on to be chair of the firm's PE group. Capetta has roughly 34 years' worth of experience in the mergers and acquisitions.


NewOak Capital Markets LLC — The New York investment bank appointed Anastasia Davis Stull as a managing director. Based in Washington, D.C., Stull is expected to help NewOak financial and lending clients with regards to regulator matters. Prior to joining NewOak, Stull was a director of compliance for Treliant Risk Advisors in New York focusing on its international banking practice.
