KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. – Mario Toukan has been appointed to the head of KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc.’s chemical practice. KeyBanc, the corporate and investment banking arm of Cleveland-based KeyCorp. (NYSE: KEY), says it hopes Toukan’s industry insight and strategic M&A experience will help the company’s position in the chemical sector. Toukan spent 13 years as an M&A-focused banker. He also advised KeyBanc’s chemicals division for the past several years. Before his investment banking career, Toukan spent several years at a big four accounting firm.


Veritas Financial Partners – Christina Grenga has been hired as vice president, business development officer at financial services firm Veritas Financial partners. Before joining Veritas, Grenga held various positions with First Capital and NCO Financial Services. She also spent more than 10 years at J.P. Morgan Chase, where she served as regional vice president for wholesale mortgage lending.


Sequeira Partners Inc. – Sequeira Partners Inc., headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, is opening a new office in Vancouver. The corporate finance firm hopes the new location will expand its reach into the western Canada marketplace. Ken Terry and Kellie Manchester will lead the Vancouver location.


Cambridge Associates – Cambridge Associates has hired Richard L. Carson as director of benchmark services. Carson will oversee the expansion of the investment adviser’s investment benchmarks. Previously, Carson was managing director at strategy consulting firm Monitor Group, where he has worked since 1986. Prior to his with with Monitor Group, Caron was a senior consultant at Arthur Andersen’s management information consulting division.


BTIG LLC – The financial services firm, which specializes in institutional trading and related brokerage services, has hired Eddie Benson to help run the company’s European operations as a managing director. Benson previously traded for clients at Deutsche Bank, where he has worked since 1996.
