Glen Clarke has joined Robert W. Baird & Co. as a managing director where he will lead the firm’s food and beverage group. Based in Chicago, Clarke was previously with KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. (NYSE: KEY).


Stephen Clarke has joined New York-based Cowen Group Inc. (Nasdaq: COWN) as a managing director. Most recently with Morgan Joseph TriArtisan, Clarke focuses on the industrials sector.


Michael Collier was hired by Duff & Phelps as a managing director in Houston. Collier, who spent more than 20 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, advises clients on due diligence in the oil and gas sector.


Ben Davis has joined Proskauer’s London office as a partner. Most recently with Reed Smith, Davis concentrates on leveraged finance and debt restructuring.


Zachary Fisher has joined New York-based Cowen as a managing director. Previously with Morgan Joseph TriArtisan, Fisher focuses on the technology and media sectors.


Judah Frogel was hired by Allen & Overy as a partner in New York.  Most recently with White & Case, Frogel represents investment and commercial banks in leveraged loan and acquisition financing.


Michael Fuller has been promoted from principal to chief financial officer at the Watermill Group, where will be responsible for the financial operations of the firm along with its portfolio companies. Prior to joining Lexington, Massachusetts-based Watermill, Fuller was with turnaround and capital advisory firm Phoenix Management Services.


Brian Gart has joined Akerman LLP’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida, office as a partner. Previously with Gordian Group, Gart concentrates on distressed M&A and restructurings in the financial services sector.


Rajani Gupta has joined Allen & Overy as a partner in New York. Most recently with Proskauer Rose, Gupta represents banks and financial institutions in M&A and financing.


Kerry Hatch was hired by New York-based DeSilva & Phillips as a managing director where she will lead the firm’s information, data and analytics group. Hatch was most recently the chief operating officer at data software company Acxiom.


Will Henderson was promoted from principal to managing director at New York-based Graycliff Partners. Henderson has joined the middle market PE firm in 2006 and was previously with MidMark Capital.


Ira Herman was hired by Blank Rome LLP as a partner in New York. Most recently with Thompson & Knight LLP, Herman focuses on distressed M&A and bankruptcies in the oil and has sector.


Meghan Jodz was promoted from senior manager to partner in Grant Thornton LLP’s M&A tax group. Based in Philadelphia, Jodz concentrates on the manufacturing, distribution, transportation and logistics, financial services and technology sectors.


Raymond Kane has joined Bryant Park Capital’s New York office as a managing director. Previously with KPMG Corporate Finance, Kane focuses on specialty finance, including the sale of securities in the private placement market.


Julia Karol has been promoted from principal to chief operating officer at the Watermill Group. Karol will be responsible for the PE firm’s operations and assist portfolio companies implement their strategies. She is the daughter of Steve Karol, who is managing partner and founder of the Lexington, Mass.-based firm.


Todd Koretzky was hired by Allen & Overy as a partner in New York. Previously with Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy, Koretzky advises financial institutions on secured and unsecured loans as well as acquisition financing.


Sanghoon Lee has joined TPG as a partner. Most recently with Morgan Stanley Private Equity, Lee will lead TPG’s investment activities in South Korea.


Scott Lemone was hired by New York-based Cowen as a managing director. Most recently with TriArtisan Capital Partners, Lemone concentrates on the retail and consumer sectors.


Steven Levy has joined Cowen as a managing director in New York. Previously with Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF), Levy concentrates on M&A in the consumer, industrial and technology sectors.


Mark Liu has joined Akerman LLP’s Los Angeles office as a partner. Most recently with Amicorp, Liu concentrates on private equity and M&A, particularly in Asia.


David Milligan was hired by Neal Gerber & Eisenberg LLP as a partner in Chicago. Most recently Kirkland & Ellis, Milligan concentrates on M&A, private equity and debt financing.


Sunil Moser has joined SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as a managing director. Based in Atlanta and previously with Credit Suisse, Moser focuses in M&A in the power sector. 


Michael Muntner has joined Centerview Partners' New York office as a partner. Most recently with Credit Suisse, Muntner focuses on M&A in the health care sector.


Miguel Nistal has been named the CEO at pest control and lawn care products manufacturer Woodstream Corp., which is backed by New York-based Vestar Capital Partners. Nistal was previously with water irrigation products maker Swan Products LLC.


Kevin O’Donnell has joined Chicago-based Adams Street Partners as global head of business development and investor relations. He will serve on the firm’s executive committee. O’Donnell was previously with BlackRock.


Prasad Parmeshwaran was hired by New York-based Cowen as a managing director. Parmeshwaran, who spent more than 10 years at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE: GS), focuses on the health care sector.


Daniel Paulos has joined Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP as a partner in New York. Most recently with Akin Gump, Paulos advises hedge funds and private equity firms on tax matters.




Amanda Persaud has joined Ropes & Gray’s New York office as a partner. Previously with Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz, Persaud focuses on formation and fundraising for private equity firms and hedge funds.


John Pollack was hired by Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP as a partner in New York. Previously with Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, Pollack focuses on M&A and private equity.


Duke Punhong was promoted from principal to managing director at New York-based Graycliff Partners. Punhong joined the PE firm in 2004 and prior to that, he was with Cornerstone Equity Investors.


Alan Rockwell was hired by Allen & Overy as a partner in New York. Most recently with White & Case, Rockwell represents financial institutions in leveraged finance, including acquisition financing and asset-based lending.


Mauro Rossi has joined Perella Weinberg Partners’ New York office as a managing director. Previously with Morgan Stanley, Rossi focuses on M&A, corporate restructuring and capital raising in the insurance sector.


Philippe Schenk was hired by Boston-based J.W. Childs Associates LP as a managing director. Previously with Grove Street Advisors, Schenk will lead J.W. Childs’ investor relations activities.


Melissa Schibi was promoted from senior manager to partner at Grant Thornton. Based in Hartford, Connecticut, Schibi advised clients on tax matters related to M&A.


Hudson Smith was hired by San Francisco-based Thoma Bravo as a partner. Previously with HGGC, Smith focuses on lower middle market investments in software and technology.


Stuart Smith has joined Centerview Partners' New York office as a partner. Most recently with Credit Suisse, Smith concentrates on M&A in the health care sector.


John Squires was hired by Gibson Dunn as a partner in New York. Previously with Perkins Coie, Squires focuses on financial technology, including e-commerce, mobile payments and cybersecurity.


James Stone has joined One to One Corporate Finance as a partner. Based in Washington, D.C., Stone focuses on M&A in the financial services and health care technology sectors. He previously founded Converge Capital.


Sanjev Warna-kula-suriya has joined Latham & Watkins’ London office as a partner. Previously with Slaughter and May, Warna-kula-suriya advises private equity firms, hedge funds and investment banks on capital raising and investment transactions.


Paul Tobias has joined Vinson & Elkins LLP’s Austin, Texas, office as a partner. Previously with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Tobias represents technology companies in M&A and financing.


Ken Trent was hired by Boca Raton, Florida-based Hidden Harbor Capital Partners as an operating partner, where he will help source and evaluate potential investments in the industrials sector. Kent was previously the owner of electrical power generation systems manufacturer Professional Power Products.

Jeff Zolkin has joined William Blair’s Los Angeles office as a managing director. Most recently with Imperial Capital, Zolkin concentrates on high yield finance.
