Lineage Logistics is buying Millard Refrigerated Services for an undisclosed amount.

Millard, headquartered in Omaha, is a third-party warehousing and logistics company that provides cold storage, transportation, processing and food manufacturing services.

The deal expands Lineage, a Colton, Calif.-based logistics group, by adding 30 new locations and increasing the company's cold storage capacity. The deal is expected to close within 30 days.

Lineage is backed by San Francisco private equity firm Bay Grove Capital LLC. In May, Lineage picked up a facility near Chicago, and in April, picked up storage facilities in Washington.

Other recent logistics transactions include Wind Point Partners' March investment in Dicom Transportation Group, and UPS' (NYSE: UPS) deal for Polar Speed in February.
