Abila has purchased Avectra for an undisclosed amount.
McLean, Va.-based Avectra provides web-based customer-relationship management services.
Abila, formerly Sage Nonprofit Solutions, will expand its client base and technology offerings through the acquisitions.
Abila, headquartered in Austin, Texas, was rebranded with a new name in July. The company offers fund accounting, donor and grant management, fundraising and relationship management services for nonprofits, government agencies and schools.
The buyer is backed by Menlo Park, Calif.-based private equity firm Accel-KKR. The firm focuses on technology investments, and has about $2.3 billion in assets under management. In July, Accel-KKR-backed Pinstripe Inc. merged with Ochre House to create one recruitment process outsourcing provider. In June, the firm invested in Zinc Ahead Ltd., which provides marketing compliance services to the life sciences industry. The firm picked up Sage Nonprofit in February.
