Hundreds of deal professionals are heading to ACG Boston’s DealFest and DealSource Select events on June 7-8. The gatherings provide opportunities to foster connections with New England’s private equity investors and investment bankers and to identify sources of deal flow.

DealFest showcases the region’s top PE firms and investment banks, who host “bars” and share craft beers amid a brewery-style atmosphere. The event takes place at the Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts, an historic South End venue dating back to 1884 and featuring a copper skylight dome.

DealSource Select, held at 60 State Street, a modern skyscraper in the Government Center neighborhood, provides opportunities for private meetings. The participant list is strictly limited to investment bankers, private equity investors, limited partners, corporate development professionals, family offices, and lenders active in acquisition financing. At the 2016 event, more than 300 capital providers, intermediaries, corporate development professionals and lenders conducted more than 1,000 meetings, according to ACG Boston. To facilitate networking, attendees are invited to download the DealSource Select App, available for free in the App Store and Google Play. The program allows participants to send messages, view attendees and schedule meetings in the same way as the online tool.

Mergers & Acquisitions will be on site at DealSource Select, conducting video interviews with dealmaking professionals. Area dealmakers featured in our previous videos include Audax Group’s Geoffrey Rehnert and Watermill Group’s Julia Karol.
