Logitech (Nasdaq: LOGI) has purchased TT Design Labs, a startup the makes smartphone accessories.

TT Design makes TidyTilt, a magnetic iPhone case that has a folding section to hold the phone up on its side.  The company also created JustMount, a magnetic block that holds up iPhones that have the TidyTilt case. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Both of TT Design’s founders, Derek Tarnow and Zahra Tashakorina, will join Logitech – Tarnow on a full time basis, and Tashakorina in a consulting role.

Logitech, headquartered in Morges, Switzerland, develops computing, communications and entertainment products, including hardware and software for digital navigation, music, video, gaming, social network, audio and visual communication and video security. In 2010, in connection with Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG), Logitech developed Google TV. In July 2011, the company bought visual communications provider Mirial.
