Middle-market investment bank Lincoln International, based in Chicago, strengthened its global footprint with the acquisition of Rondelli Advisers, a Milan-based advisory group. Rondelli's founder Saverio Rondelli (pictured) will stay as the new chief executive for Lincoln-Italy. Financial details were not disclosed.

The acquisition comes on the heels of Lincoln’s acquiring the financial advisory division of Stratus Group in Sao Paulo. In addition to the Chicago headquarters and Sao Paulo office, Lincoln has offices in Amsterdam, Beijing, Frankfurt, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Moscow, Mumbai, New York, Paris, Tokyo and Vienna. Lincoln employs about 300 people.
