New York private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP (NYSE: KKR) is buying a retail park portfolio from Resolution Property, a London-based real estate investor.

KKR is making the deal through an affiliate of KKR Financial Holdings LLC (NYSE: KFN), a specialty finance company. Terms are undisclosed.

The portfolio contains retail warehouse spaces in Oxford, Glasgow and Sunderland, England, as well as food, shopping and retail outlets.

This is KKR’s first European property acquisition, the company says.

Jones Lang LaSalle served as KKR’s adviser.
