KeyBanc Capital Markets has hired three former Bank of America Merrill Lynch bankers for its syndicated finance team.

Robyn Roof, Jef Fowler and Tracey Guice join the Cleveland-based investment bank as it prepares to build its loan syndicate function.

Roof was most recently a managing director of the U.S. loan syndicate at BofA. She will be based in New York and head up the effort along with Edward Corletzi, head of loan sales.

Fowler most recently served in syndications, leveraged finance, and financial sponsor coverage with BofA. He worked in the Charlotte, N.C., Chicago and London BofA offices. Guice was most recently vice president for leveraged finance in BofA’s Charlotte, N.C. office.

Fowler and Guice will be based at KeyBanc’s Cleveland headquarters.
