JMI Equity has made an investment in Dean Evans & Associates Inc.
Dean Evans, headquartered in Denver, provides facility scheduling and event management software. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Baltimore, Md.-based JMI focuses on making software and technology investments. The firm has more than $2.1 billion in committed capital under management. The firm invested in SiriusDecisions Inc., a research and advisory firm, in January. In February 2013, the firm partnered with Investor Growth Capital to make a $31 million investment in WhiteHat Security, a web security business.
Dean Evans expects JMI's investment to help the company grow its offerings.
