Intapp Inc. has acquired software company the Frayman Group for an undisclosed amount.
Frayman provides risk management software to law firms. The company will operate as a subsidiary of the buyer.
Intapp also provides software for the legal industry, including products that aim to streamline new business, as well as manage conflicts, information security and professional compliance. In June, the company announced the acquisition of Advanced Productivity Software, which makes desktop and mobile time-entry software.
Similar deals include Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX) and Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division's purchase of Ipreo Holdings LLC, which provides workflow software to the equities, fixed income, municipal and syndicated loan markets, and Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services' deal for the rest of Third Coast Holdings Inc. Third Coast does business as Datacert, which provides legal management software and services to U.S. law firms.
