Hub International Ltd. has purchased GNW-Evergreen Insurance Services Inc.

Los Angeles-based GNW provides commercial, personal and employee benefits insurance services to businesses and individuals. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Hub made the acquisition through subsidiary Hub International Insurance Services, California Operations. The Chicago-based company provides property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and management insurance products.

The deal comes just days after the company announced the acquisition of the insurance agency businesses of Pinnacle Insurance Partners, an insurance brokerage firm. 

The acquisitions come during a long period of insurance consolidation, with recent deals by Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC, which bought Cambridge Property & Casualty, and Aetna Inc. (NYSE: AET), which picked up InterGlobal.
