In yet another insurance acquisition, Hub International Ltd. has acquired the assets of Kuykendall Gardner for an undisclosed amount.

Kuykendall, headquartered in Winter Park, Florida, provides insurance services in Florida. The company's president, Jack Kuykendall will become chairman of Hub's Florida operations and work with the group to continue expanding in the state. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Hub has been rapidly expanding through acquisition. In September, the insurer picked up Peterson Milaney Insurance Associates, a California-based insurance group, and the commercial-line book business from independent broker Lisa Cook. In July, Hub picked up Gibson's Insurance Agency Ltd., which is based in Manitoba Canada. 

In September, the company bought a software group with services for insurers, Algentis LLC.
