Harvest Partners backed tech-staffing company Insight Global, Inc. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Atlanta-based Insight generates nearly $350 million in annual sales, providing staffing and customer services IT needs, targeting end markets such as healthcare, energy, tech and telecom, financial services and municipalities.

Harvest is investing out of its fifth fund, an $815 million vehicle closed in June, 2007.

The staffing space has seen a fair amount of activity in recent months. Caltius Equity Partners, in April, acquired Diversified Human Resources, which specializes in human resources, while Blackstone Group portfolio company TeamHealth agreed to acquire Summit Partners' Anesthetix Management in a deal bolstering the buyer's healthcare offerings. TeamHealth went public in a December initial public offering.

Harvest Partners' Ira Kleinman and Jay Wilkins, a senior managing director and principal at the firm respectively, will be joining Insight's board at the conclusion of the deal.
