Dr Pepper Snapple Group (NYSE: DPS) has acquired the assets of Dr Pepper/7-UP Bottling Co. of the West.
The deal includes rights to the Dr. Pepper/7UP territory and ownership of distribution operations in Reno, Nev., Chico, Calif. and Boise, Idaho. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
The target distributes Dr Pepper, Snapple, 7UP, Sunkist soda, A&W and RC Cola, as well as Fiji, Neuro, Rockstar and Vita Coco.
Dr Pepper Snapple, headquartered in Plano, Texas, produces flavored drinks in North America and the Caribbean, including Dr Pepper, Snapple, 7UP, A&W, Canada Dry, Clamato, Crush, Hawaiian Punch, Mott’s, Schweppes and more.
