Ernst & Young LLP has acquired BPM Specialists Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

BPM provides business process management technology services, including configuring software applications for companies.

New York-based Ernst & Young provides tax, transaction and other advisory services. The deal should help the company grow its business and technology services offerings.

Several other advisers have made acquisitions lately, including investment bank Houlihan Lokey, which agreed to buy ArchPoint Partnersin March, and Grant Thornton LLP's deal for Horwich Rossiter in February.
