Ergon Inc. has made two acquisitions – an oil pipeline in Texas, and the remaining interest in a Mississippi ethanol facility.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Oklahoma City-based Blueknight provides storage, processing, gathering and transportation services to the oil and gas industry.

Ergon Ethanol Inc., another Ergon subsidiary, acquired Bunge North America Inc.’s interest in Ergon BioFuels LLC, a Vicksburg, Miss.-based ethanol plant. Ergon BioFuels began as a joint venture between Ergon Ethanol and Bunge in 2007. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Bunge, headquartered in White Plains, N.Y., provides food and feed ingredients.

Jackson, Miss.-based Ergon, has refining, marketing, asphalt and emulsions, transportation, oil and gas and real estate operations.

The deals come at a busy time for the energy sector, which has hosted recent M&A transactions by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP (NYSE: KKR), which bought Torq Energy Logistics Ltd. in December, and Riverstone Holdings LLC, which invested in Abaco Energy Technologies LLC
