Ennis Inc. (NYSE: EBF) is buying Folder Express from Wright Printing Co.
Omaha, Neb.-based Folder Express makes folders. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Ennis, headquartered in Midlothian, Texas, makes and sells business forms, apparel and other business s products, including printed and electronic media, presentation products, advertising products, Post-it Notes, bank forms, plastic cards, envelopes and other custom products. The company’s apparel side makes tee shirts and other apparel.
The buyer expects the deal to expand its folder sales.
Wright Printing is an Omaha-based printing company.
The deal follows Investcorp's September purchase of Paper Source, a retailer that sells stationary and craft supplies and Atlas Holdings and Blue Wolf Capital Partners acquisition of a majority interest inTwin Rivers Paper Co.
