Digital Insurance has acquired Fallick Insurance Services, an insurance company based in Mountain View, Calif., in its latest acquisition.

Fallick is joining Digital Insurance’s digital benefit advisers segment, which is headquartered in Los Altos, Calif. The target provides employee benefits to about 175 small and medium-sized businesses in California.

Atlanta-based Digital Insurance focuses on employee benefits. In February, the company bought Cambridge, Mass.-based Brokerage Insurance Agency in an effort to strengthen its presence in New England. The company also scooped up Nielsen Benefits Group in November, and First Benefit Partners in August. 

The insurance industry has been consolidating. Other acquisitions include Marsh’s purchase of Rehder y Asociados Group, a Peruvian insurance provider, and Confie Seguros’ deal for Texas State Low Cost Insurance Agency of Austin
