Dassault Systemes (Paris: DSY) is buying a majority stake in Realtime Technology AG.

Munich-based Realtime Technology provides 3D visualization software, marketing services and computer-generated imagery. The company provides services to Adidas, Hugo Boss, the North Face, Volkswagen and many other companies.

Dassault, headquartered in Vélizy-Villacoublay, France, also provides 3D design software. The company is buying an 84 percent stake in Realtime Technology for €40 (U.S. $54.33) per share.

Other 3D deals include Ametek Inc.’s acquisition of Creaform Inc. for $120 millionin October, and Dassault’s May purchase of Apriso.
