Insurance company Confie Seguros has continued its buying spree by acquiring Olympic Insurance.
Shelton, Wash.-based Olympic provides automotive, home and small commercial insurance for Washington state.
The deal is part of Confie Seguros’ plan to expand its presence in Washington. In 2010, the company picked up Washington-based insurer Vern Fonk Insurance.
The private equity-backed buyer is also expanding in other regions, and bought New York-based CW Baker Insurance Agency and Lewiston Insurance Agency in July. In May, Confie Seguros bought Texas State Low Cost Insurance Agency of Austin.
Confie Seguros, headquartered in Buena Park, Calif., is backed by PE firm Arby Partners.
