Coeur Mining Inc. (NYSE: CDE) is buying Global Royalty Corp. for $23.8 million.

Global Royalty, headquartered in Vancouver, owns precious metals royalty interests in mines in Mexico and Ecuador. 

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho-based Coeur is making the deal through a newly formed subsidiary, Coeur Capital Inc. The company will hold Coeur’s existing and future royalty and streaming interests and portfolio of strategic equity investments.

The purchase price for Global Royalty worked out to $0.3 million in cash and the rest in common stock.

In April, Coeur closed a deal for Orko Silver Corp., a Vancouver-based silver mining company.
