Brock Capital Group LLC — The New York boutique investment bank named Dino Mauricio chief operating officer. A 20-year veteran when it comes to advising corporate acquirers and private equity firms, Mauricio joins Brock from Schaffer Consulting. Before that, he was with Getzler Henrich & Associates. He has also held positions at General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE), LEK Consulting and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE: GS).


CoBe Capital — The New York private equity firm enlisted Jose Cabrera-Kabana (pictured) as managing director to help CoBe expand operations across Europe, namely Spain and Portugal. CoBe focuses on the acquisition of non-core business units from large corporations. Previously, Cabrera-Kabana was a managing director with Munich-based consulting firm Goetzpartners. His career as an investment banker began at Lazard in London.


CTGrowth Partners — The New York-based recruitment firm named John Hagan a partner. Prior to joining CTGrowth, Hagan founded Savage Partners and Ryan Paige Associates. A unit of CTP Partners, CTGrowth focuses on recruiting talent for private equity-backed and venture capital-backed companies.


Doeren Mayhew — Brian Basil has joined the Troy, Mich.-based accounting firm as a director of investment banking, where he will mostly work with Midwest clients. Prior to joining the firm, Basil served as national practice co-leader of Grant Thornton LLP’s investment banking practice.


Evergreen Pacific Partners — Matt Oehlmann has joined the Seattle private equity firm as a vice president. Oehlmann will primarily focus on origination throughout Southern California and the West Coast. Most recently, Oehlmann was a vice president at Los Angeles investment firm Marlin Equity Partners and, before that, an associate within the global business development group at Platinum Equity.


KeyCorp (NYSE:KEY) — The Cleveland-based bank holding company hired George Sent (pictured) to its investment banking arm KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. as a director. A 15-year banking veteran, Sent specializes in advising public and private companies in the consumer goods and retail sector. He joins KeyBanc from Lazard Ltd. (NYSE:LAZ), where he was also a director. Sent has also held positions at Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and J.M. Smucker Co.


Summit Partners — The growth equity firm hired Darren Black as managing director for its headquarters in Boston. Summit also brought in Thomas Tarnowski as a principal in the firm’s London office. Previously, Black was a managing partner with SV Life Sciences Advisers LLP, while Tarnowski led Triton Avdvisers’ Nordic healthcare team.


Vector Capital — David Ramazetti has joined as the San Francisco firm as an managing director of business development. Most recently, Ramazetti was a managing director at Piper Jaffray Cos. (NYSE: PJC) and prior to that worked at RBC Capital Markets and Cowen & Co.
