C Spire has closed a deal for Callis Communications.
Callis, headquartered in Mobile, Ala., provides cloud-based communications services for businesses. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Ridgeland, Miss.-based telecommunications group C Spire expects the deal to help it expand its focus on business, government and consumer technology services, and broaden its service throughout Alabama.
Other recent telecommunications deals include Eutelsat Communications’ (Paris: ETL, NYSE Euronext Paris: ETL) deal for Satelites Mexicanos SA de CV, and Transtelco’s deal for XC Networks.
