Brookwood Financial Partners' broker-dealer arm named Bert Gilbert managing director.

Gilbert, who will join Brookwood Securities Partners, previously worked at Oppenheimer & Co. as senior vice president. There he managed investments for high net worth individuals, foundations and hedge funds.

Brookwood, based in Beverly, Mass., is a private equity firm that focuses on real estate and corporate securities.
