Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Anderson Properties has acquired Paradigm AdvantEdge Realty.

Paradigm, headquartered in Edmond, Oklahoma, operates a real estate brokerage firm with almost 1,000 agents in Texas and Oklahoma. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Houston-based buyer is part of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, an Irvine, California real estate brokerage network. The unit of larger Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.A), which is based in Omaha, Nebraska, focuses on residential real estate. The business is a joint venture, and Berkshire-affiliate HomeServices of America Inc. is majority owner.

The group made another acquisition in April, buying Prudential Premier Realtors and Prudential Waterfront Properties.

Berkshire's recent acquisitions include a deal to buy German motorcycle-equipment retailer Detlev Louis Motorradvertriebs GmbH earlier in February, and a plan to team up with New Balance to buy Rockport from Adidas, announced in January.
