Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, an affiliate of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK.A), has added Prudential Premier Realtors and Prudential Waterfront Properties to its real estate network.

Roanoke, Va.-based Prudential Premier and Hardy, Va.-based Prudential Waterfront join Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Premier Realtors and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Smith Mountain Lake Real Estate, respectively. Both companies provide real estate services in Virginia.

The deal adds to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices' real estate network, which now has about 28,000 agents and 750 offices in 37 states.

The targets will gain access to the buyer's technology, business consultation, professional education, and marketing support services.

Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, headquartered in Irvine, Calif., is a real estate brokerage network. The company has been expanding – these two deals follow a deal earlier in April for Elmhurst, Ill.-based Prudential Prairie Path Realtors, which is now known as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Prairie Path Realtors.

Other real estate transactions include BlackBerry's deal to sell most of its Canadian real estate holdings, and RealtyUSA's purchase of offices from Elliott Realty Inc.
