Private equity firm Aurora Capital Group has closed a deal for Arc International Cookware SAS for an undisclosed amount.

The target designs, manufactures and distributes cookware products, including the Pyrex brand, in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The deal includes Arc International’s subsidiaries, Arc International Cookware Spain & Portugal, Arc International Cookware Srl and Arc International Cookware Ltd. The company, which is being carved out of Arc International Group SA, will be renamed International Cookware. Arc International Group manufactures and distributes household goods.

Los Angeles-based Aurora Capital has more than $2 billion in assets under management. The firm’s investments include Ames Taping Tools, DuBois Chemicals and Industrial Container Services. In September, the firm sold Mitchell International Inc. to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP (NYSE: KKR).
