Health insurer Anthem Inc. (NYSE: ANTM) has closed a deal for Simply Healthcare Holdings Inc.

Simply, headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida, provide Medicare and Medicaid plans to people in Florida. The company will operate as a subsidiary of Anthem. Terms weren't disclosed.

The deal helps Anthem grow in Florida. The Indianapolis, Indiana-based business was the subject of a widely-publicized cyber-attack in January. After the attack, the business hried AllClear ID for two years to provide identity theft repair and credit monitoring services to customers. 

In another recent health insurance transaction, Cigna (NYSE: CI) agreed to buy QualCare Alliance Networks Inc. in January.
