American CareSource Holdings (Nasdaq: ANCI) is buying two health care clinics in Florida.
The health care provider is picking up the assets of Bay Walk-In Clinic in Panama City and Panama City Beach, Florida. The deal includes two clinics that provide pediatrics, routine family medicine and minor emergency care.
The deal comes after American CareSource bought CorrectMed, an Atlanta, Georgia-based urgent care center operator, in May.
American CareSource, headquartered in Dallas, has developed a network of ancillary care facilities. The group has more than 33,000 sites.
Other groups are also buying up clinics and health care facilities. Recent deals include Surgery Center Holdings Inc.’s purchase of Symbion Holdings Corp. for $792 million, and U.S. HealthWorks’ acquisition of California Occupational Clinic of Los Angeles.
