This July, the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors' (AM&AA) Summer Conference in Chicago brings together more than 400 M&A professionals under one roof.

"Our conference theme, "Shining a Light on the Middle Market," reflects the importance of the middle-market segment of the economy as growth begins to accelerate domestically and abroad," says Thomas Kesoglou of law firm McCarter English LLP.

Investment bankers, intermediaries, private equity firms, corporate investors, lenders, accountants, consultants and attorneys are all expected to show up to the three-day event, scheduled for July 9 to July 11.

So far, the advisors alliance has a slew of panel discussions and networking sessions planned.

Delivering the keynote address on July 10 is Steven Rogers, senior lecturer of business administration at Harvard University in Boston. Other guest speakers include: Gabe Fried, chief executive of Hilco Streambank; Jeffrey Kadlic, co-founder of Evolution Capital Partners; Peter Rothschild, principal at Tamarix Capital; and Thomas Landstreet, chief executive of Standard Research Corp.
