Allegheny Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ATI)  has acquired Dynamic Flowform Corp.

Billerica, Mass.-based Dynamic produces thin-walled components for alloy systems used by the aerospace, defense, oil and gas and chemical industries. Specific products include airframe and jet engine parts and oil and gas drilling tools. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Allegheny, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa., produces specialty materials and components for the aerospace, defense, oil and gas, chemical, electrical, medical, automotive, food equipment and construction markets. The deal will expand Allegheny’s capabilities to produce specialty materials and products.

In September, Allegheny sold its Tungsten materials business for $605 million to Kennametal Inc.
