AEI Industrial Partners has acquired maintenance and staffing company BHI Energy from Harvest Partners. AEI isrecognized as one of 10 Young and Thriving PE Firms worth watching.
BHI, located in Waymouth, Massachussetts, provides maintenance, repair and staffing services to industrials, energy and power generation companies. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Harvest invested in the target in 2010. White and Case, Robert W. Baird & Co. and Harris Williams & Co. advised BHI. Kirkland & Ellis represented advisor to AEI.
Boca Raton, Florida-based AE Industrial is a private investment firm backing companies in the aerospace, power generation and specialty industrial space. The firm recently announced plans to acquire design service provider CDI.
Service and repair providers have been receiving attention from buyers. Doosan Heavy Industries & construction acquired ACT Turbo Services from Platte River; One Equity-backed W.W. Williams bought Desert Fleet-Serv; and Wafra Partners purchased InterMed.
