Mergers & Acquisitions is seeking nominations for our 2022 PE Innovators in ESG awards.
For the second year in a row, we will honor the PE firms that are pioneering a new approach to investing that recognizes the importance of defining, measuring and achieving environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.
Nominations are due by Tuesday, May 10. Winners will be announced July 1 on our website www.TheMiddleMarket.com and published in the July/August 2022 issue of Mergers & Acquisitions.
We will also be hosting two events: PE Innovators in ESG SPEAK and MEET: July 13 and July 20. We hope to see you there.

What We Ask:
To determine the winners, we ask six questions:
· What role does ESG play in your PE firm’s investment strategy?
· How are you measuring ESG at your firm?
· In what ways is your firm “Advanced” in ESG integration?
· How does your firm work with portfolio companies to achieve ESG goals?
· Please describe 3-5 of the firm’s achievements in ESG over the last year.
· What best practices and advice can you share with other PE firms?

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, candidates must be private equity firms (including growth equity funds, later-stage funds, independent sponsors and family offices), and a representative from the firm must submit a nomination through our electronic form by Tuesday, May 10.
