Throughout the uncertain economy of 2022, dealmaking within the home services segment has stayed relevant and lively. This time, Trilantic North America-backed Outdoor Living Supply has shown strength in its platform as it has acquired yet another hardscapes-based firm to expand its growing portfolio.
Outdoor Living Supply, a distribution platform for outdoor living products that is concentrated on hardscapes, has acquired Tahoe Sand & Gravel. The target is an independent distributor of bulk materials, hardscapes and masonry supplies for the Lake Tahoe Basin.
“Tahoe Sand & Gravel is the perfect complement to our other branches in this market – Parker Hardscapes in Reno, Nevada and The Rock Garden in Truckee, California,” says Brian Price, CEO of OLS.
Throughout 2022, OLS has withstood the test of the market and has completed in over 10 deals to build its platform and offerings to its customers. In the fourth quarter of 2022, the firm acquired LandCare, Geobunga and Bedrock Landscape Supply to go along with a similar amount of acquisitions across the previous three quarters.
The Tahoe Sand & Gravel deal allows Trilantic and OLS to make the most out of consumers’ willingness to invest in their homes through expanding its reach into new geographies without the need to invest from the ground up.
