LPW Group, a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, is investing in Houston, Tex.- based El Mar Ventures and Advanced Industrial Technologies LLC. The firms are industrial application valve providers. El Mar and Advanced Industrial Technologies go to market through the brands Ladish Valves, Smith Valves, AIT and Diamond Gear. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
El Mar and AIT provide specialty valves that are used in chemical, petrochemical, refining, renewable, pulp and paper and other industrial applications. Rosemont, Ill.- based Wynnchurch Capital is a private equity firm focused on the middle market. LPW Group is the parent company of Penn Machine and Western Flange.
