William Blair, a global boutique with experience in investment banking, investment management and private wealth management, has hired Scott Hansen as an associate director of research.
Hansen joins with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Throughout his career, he has managed all aspects of the equity research landscape, including developing commercial research, leading partnerships with equity sales and trading and supporting professional development initiatives. He spent the last 15 years at JPMorgan in New York and was recently North America associate director of equity research and head of product development.
“I look forward to helping scale our ongoing efforts to identify the next generation of high-quality disruptive growth companies, including developing a robust pipeline of talent within the group,” states Hansen.
