Wheel Pros, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of proprietary branded aftermarket vehicle enhancements and backed by Clearlake Capital Group LP, has acquired Throtl, an aftermarket e-commerce platform for automotive and off-roading customers.

Throtl has created a community gathering sport and home for automotive and off-roading enthusiasts. The firm offers a suite of aftermarket performance product offering through its online marketplace. Throtl reaches its community members through a library of digital content curated by the firm’s automotive influencers.
