Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, a private equity firm concentrated on healthcare and technology industries, and Resurgens Orthopaedics have formed a new venture that will build a premier physician-owned orthopedic platform.

Resurgens is a large orthopedic group based out of Georgia and provides specialty care and ancillary services to all musculoskeletal needs. The firm has around 100 physicians and 50 practice providers across 24 clinic locations, serving 800,000 patients.
