Torque Capital Group, a middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Metal Forming & Coining Corp., a manufacturer of flow-formed and cold-formed components and assemblies.

MFC/Netform primarily serves transmission and propulsion applications in the automotive and truck markets. With capabilities for powertrain technologies, MFC/Netform works to improve design, material usage and logistics surrounding the production of parts. James Rosseau, an operating partner with Torque Capital, will work alongside the MFC/Netform team.

“Our partnership with Torque will allow us to make new investments into technology, people and capabilities to continue enhancing and expanding our offerings,” says Tim Cripsey, who will transition into the role of president of MFC/Netform post-closing.
