Teufelberger and Sigma Plastics Groups has bought Maillis Plastic Solutions, a subsidiary of Maillis Group owned by H.I.G. Capital. Harris Williams, an investment bank specializing in M&A, advised and announced the sale. The financial terms were not disclosed.
Maillis Plastic Solutions is a Karczew, Poland-based film and strapping manufacturer. The firm is a full range supplier that serves a range of European customers. H.I.G. is a Miami-based alternative assets investment firm that manages $48 billion of equity under capital management. The firm’s current portfolio includes more than 100 companies with combined sales over $30 billion. The deal will expand Sigma Plastics Groups track record in the packaging industry
Teufelberger is a manufacturing company that produces fiber ropes, cables, and strapping. Sigma is a privately owned film extrusion group in North America. The firm is based in Pompano Beach, Florida and produces packaging products that serve agricultural, food, medical, retail, hygienic and converter film markets.
