T. Rowe Price, a global investment management firm with a focus on retirement, has bought Retiree Inc., a financial technology firm that offers retirement planning software.
Retiree delivers a retirement planning process through its software for financial professionals and consumers. With the closing of the transaction, Retiree Inc. will join T. Rowe Price, and founder and CEO of Retiree William Meyer will report to Phil Korenman, head of individual investors at T. Rowe Price.
“Combining our strengths in retirement will allow us to bring new solutions to clients to deliver improved retirement outcomes,” states Korenman.
