SK AeroSafety Group, a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners and provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services to the aviation safety industry, has acquired Fire-Tec Aero Systems.

Fire-Tec is a provider of MRO aviation services and specializes in fire extinguishers, oxygen bottles and emergency power equipment. The firm services over 350 customers across a diverse group.

“We are excited to partner with Fire-Tec to build on SK’s growing reach in the United States by adding further specialist fire safety capabilities to our portfolio,” said Chris Wright, CEO of SK. “Combining with Fire-Tec will enhance SK’s customer offering, and further solidify our position as a global market leader.”

“We are thrilled to continue our support of SK and its ongoing acquisition strategy,” commented Josh Kaufman, senior managing director at LLCP. “The acquisitions of Fire-Tec and the successful acquisition of SEMCO in 2019, has enabled SK to develop meaningful scale and capability in the U.S. market.”
