Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is pleased to announce that Lidore DeRose has joined the firm’s corporate practice group as special counsel in the Washington, D.C. office.  DeRose was most recently a director at Lockton Companies, where she led deal teams in advising clients on transaction risk insurance.

“Representation and warranty insurance is a critical component of most private equity and M&A transactions today, as the policy terms and related acquisition agreement terms are among the most heavily negotiated,” said Jeralin Cardoso, leader of Sheppard Mullin’s Corporate practice group. “Lidore brings immediate benefits and value to our M&A and private equity clients, particularly given her unique market insight, deep industry relationships and track record of obtaining highly favorable policy terms for insureds. We’re thrilled she’s joined us.”
