SciPlay, a mobile and web game developer, has purchased Alictus, a mobile games developer and publisher, in an all-cash transaction.SciPlay has acquired 80 percent of Alictus for $100 million in a cash payment that is not subject to financing.

Alictus is a “hypercasual” game development company that has a sophisticated in-app advertising business model. SciPlay offers social casino games and casual games that can be played on multiple platforms, including Apple and Google. The deal serves to diversify SciPlay revenues into the fast-growing mobile in-app advertising market.
