Integrated Water Services, a water and wastewater treatment services provider and a portfolio company of Sciens Water, has acquired MMBR Systems, a membrane bioreactor manufacturer and distributor.
MMBR Systems serves select wastewater treatment and water reuse markets in the U.S., working with membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology providers and end users to deliver, optimize and support MBR technology and installations across North America. Joining MMBR’s membrane bioreactor technologies with IWS’ water and wastewater treatment services looks to advance water reuse technologies for clients. As a result of the transaction, IWS, in partnership with Sciens Water, will acquire 100 percent of the equity of MMBR Systems.
